At the end of your life, It seems like a good idea, if you are someone like me, to write a book. And that's what I did.

It began simply as an exploration into instances being utterly engaged with nature to see its impact on consciousness. The experiences range from being mesmerized by bird behavior, to holding my Father's hand as he died, to climbing mountains, to seeing a sweet potato crop through to harvest.

To my surprise, after describing the experiences, unexpected concluding commentary appeared I did not believe myself capable of writing. Where did this come from? Surprising, intriguing themes kept emerging again and again. I was not sure what this was about or where it was going, and the only way I was going to find out was to keep writing.

Steve's book is incredible.

Steve's ability to succinctly describe the undefinable connection to nature amidst the natural desire to define (everything) in our reality is incredible. Steve is a natural writer.

His book seems to scratch the itch of the unexplainable, but even more, the ability to connect with the unexplainable in the most simple way-by experiencing reality, rather than trying to define it. His level of consciousness within mindfulness is extraordinary.

Insightful, very interesting, amazing experiences

This is a book with so many very interesting life encounters. Steve's life was not without close calls, but he survived, pondered, learned, grew, and like it or not, he stayed true. I was wondering if I would like the books unconventional style, but it was an engrossing read. Steve, Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed your book!

This is Steve's first book so I bought it to support the family and to read and see what his thoughts he wrote down to share with us
