I love the connection between his 2 books and how the second one brings him down from the mountain a bit more but still focuses on his relationship to nature, family, and Epsteins.

Enjoying BASTARAI very much. It has joined a collection of books I own that are best described by the above review title “everyday.” Rather than cover to cover and done projects, these are books I love to check in with daily when life permits or requires. So glad for the opportunity to know better this fine man and writer through his poems. And sorry that it came when it was too late for good conversations.
