Light and convenient

This might be one of my favorite little rulers to carry around. Just as the point of comparison, Milwaukee also makes a 6-ft tape measure, so I figured I would compare them and indicate why I prefer this tape measure.

On my scale, this tape measure weighs 60 g. That is 15 g less than the Milwaukee 6 ft/2 m tape measure.

The keson has. A key ring on it so you can attach keys. The Milwaukee has a clip that is spring-loaded so you can move release and reattach it. I suspect that they want you to use this to attach to a key ring for the Milwaukee and the keson they expect you to attach the keys directly to it

The case on keson is inches only. It is very easy to read and marked in 16ths. The only part actually labeled are the inches. There are graduation marks for the 16th of different lengths so you can tell 16th versus eights quarters and halves.

After you get over 1 ft, one side indicates inches in red so you can easily see that you're at 3 ft 3 in, or is the other side has total inches from the start.

There are stud markings every 16 in which is nice.

If you really want metric, you probably want the Milwaukee 6-footer, because it has inches on one side with graduation markings the same as the keson in their 16th eights and halves. At every footmark there is a red square around it. So at 2 ft. Is a red square around 24 in with a small 2f next to it. Much more difficult to tell when you're 3 ft 3 in. And really you just need to look for 39 in if that's what you're looking for. The metric side marks every centimeter and every half centimeter has a small gradient and then every 10th of a centimeter, so 1 mm, has its own graduation. Mark. So if you really want or need metric, you probably want the Milwaukee but I find the kison easier to read and it's not even close.

The keson is very easy to lock in place and then much more difficult to unlock. The Milwaukee is relatively easy to lock and unlock.

So my preference is strongly towards keson. Is an awesome little tape measure. I love it! I think it's a great match of size versus length and ease of carry. I'm more likely to carry something like this around than a larger tape measure.... And I own lots of tape measures.

So if you're okay with this being inches and feet, just buy some and put them all over. They're very inexpensive. Well here at Harry Epstein it's very inexpensive.
