One size does not fit all

I consider my hands maybe a little larger than average. Measuring around my palm at the knuckles is 9 inches. I find the gloves a bit on the tight side. The quality is decent, They have leather sewn into the seams in the critical places to keep sparks from burning out the stitching, that is good. The inside seams are a bit bulky and somewhat stiffer than I would like, that is bad. Overall, if they were the right size and I needed a pair of welding gloves they would be ok. But If I were looking for a spare pair, I would keep looking, hoping to find some that are made like the better ones that we used to be able to get.

I spent around eight years as a welder in the 80`s.Most of the welding gear back then was made in the states. Today the local welding supply dealers have most all foreign made products. These gloves are premium quality and best of all made here.
