Check out the resurrected Epstein's Customer Hall of Fame. It's been a while since we've accepted new members but maybe it's time we opened the books. (Note: If you'd like to send in an application please be sure to include an appropriate bribe.)
The official HJE ball cap. Made right here in Kansas City by Sandlot out of navy melton wool. Green underbill. Adjustable snap back. These hats are 100% USA made.
We're often asked for recommendations on a wide variety of KC related things so we thought we'd put a list together of other KC companies we like and recommend on a regular basis. I'm sure it will grow but this is a start.
Just received my multi tool as a Christmas gift from my daughter it looks and works great also commend she said you were so good at communicating on if you could get it made and delivered on time .. Thanks for going over the top with your sales and service
I couldn’t be happier with my new combo square which arrived in near mint condition. So glad to be able to have a precision instrument at an affordable price
I needed a very large opening wrench for a project, and this wrench worked great! I purchased some other Top Japanese wrenches and they are all extremely well made. They seem to be slightly higher quality than my Spanish Channellock adjustable wrenches.
I bought this 2’ rule to use with my pec combination square so I can square my track saw guide rail to a fence on a homemade mft and to check relatively large pieces of plywood for square.
For that purpose it works great, but it’s a bit unwieldy when using with small workpieces. Most of the time I use a 4” pec double square or a 12” pec square, but when I need to check for square on a larger surface, having a 2’ rule in a combination square is invaluable.
The tools are just what I ordered and nicely wrapped.
Please let me know when more pliers are available. I’d like to have 4 more. Always have a good selection of hard to find, unusual as well as good quality.
Thanks
Mike Routh
I cut my teeth with old tools back in the 80s. I am a big fan of the old forged craftsman tools. If I had to make a guess, these are the same as the Western Forge craftsman screwdrivers. The have all the same dimensions and feel. I ordered three of these for my repair work. 1/8” is my most used size for screwdrivers. 1 of the three has a slightly off center shank, which is a quibble. At this price it’s ridiculous to complain.
If you want an old school, great priced screwdriver that should last for a long time I would pick these up. This company has some great old days oils at great prices. Thanks!
